A Letter. A Poem. A Goddamned Monologue
"I don’t even know what you could call this.
A letter.
A poem.
A god-forsaken monologue.
I’ll let you decide. "- A Letter to A Certain Someone.

This has become the main theme of Yellow Dress. Watch the video then read the play and you’ll understand.
commandercupcakes asked: I loved your review on Deadland Wonderland, it's a show I've been meaning to watch for a long time. In regards to anime, have you tried Mirai Nikki? It's not too shabby.
Thank you! I haven’t, but I’ll be sure to check it out :) ps. Love the new URL. :3
Review: Dead Man Wonderland
I’m at the point where nothing can really shock me anymore when it comes to anime. I’ve started watching Fullmetal Alchemist in the 7th grade and I honestly thought that the image of Edward’s dismembered leg was a really intense and adult thing, and some how felt more mature for becoming a fan of the series. I soon realized, after seeing Princess Mononoke for the first time that I began to realize that maybe loss of limbs and the like is a common thing in certain genres of anime. I don’t know… there’s something about the fact that the removal of limbs is taking place in a cartoon that so largely separates anime gore from it’s live action American counterparts as seen in many a B-Horror movie.
Let me just say, Deadman Wonderland came pretty close to shocking me, came pretty close to making me question the idea of censorship and what should or shouldn’t be shown on Television. This trait is both a hindrance and a blessing for the show. Such ambivalence is carried out throughout the rest of the series. The story, the animation, the characters: all things that work so well, but also fail so very hard. It’s this ambivalence that keeps Deadman Wonderland from attaining such golden heights of critical success as a series like Fullmetal Alchemist. That and of course the fact that it’s sorely unfinished as well as rushed.
Writing a review for Deadman Wonderland because I can.

25 abandoned Yugoslavia monuments that look like they’re from the future
“These structures were commissioned by former Yugoslavian president Josip Broz Tito in the 1960s and 70s to commemorate sites where WWII battles took place or where concentration camps stood. They were designed by different sculptors and architects, conveying powerful visual impact to show the confidence and strength of the Socialist Republic. In the 1980s, these monuments attracted millions of visitors per year, especially young pioneers for their ‘patriotic education.’ After the Republic dissolved in early 1990s, they were completely abandoned, and their symbolic meanings were forever lost. From 2006 to 2009, Kempenaers toured around the ex-Yugoslavia region with the help of a 1975 map of memorials, bringing before our eyes a series of melancholy yet striking images.”
