A Letter. A Poem. A Goddamned Monologue

"I don’t even know what you could call this.
A letter.
A poem.
A god-forsaken monologue.
I’ll let you decide. "- A Letter to A Certain Someone.

The writing blog of a student playwright/paranormal enthusiast/videogame addict living in Philadelphia. Also as a certain post about a seance revealed, I kinda see dead people. I'm currently working on a series of plays inspired by spirits I've seen. Check out plays for more info

Rethinking…

Rethinking why I haven’t been able to get inspired to write lately. Realizing that now may not be the right time to work on either God is Wearing Black OR Hiding in a Wasps’ Nest. I’m also thinking that neither get me as excited the Neat Freak Cycle as my senior project. And so I’ve decided to work on that and my ideas for paranormal theater for the rest of the summer (Of course, that’s in addition too my work on Ethereal, The Walls, and starbucks.)

Just planned out my writing schedule for this summer…

Looks like I won’t be touching Serenity of A Wilted Rose again till next Fall. Womp… I really like that play.

HOWEVER…

God Is Wearing Black will finally make it’s triumphant return to the writing desk. I haven’t touched it since last year! I can’t wait to see how much it will change with all that I’ve learned this year.

Also… there’s something new on the horizon. I played around with it a little bit last summer: a satire called Hiding in a W.A.S.P.’s Nest (still not certain how I’m styling Wasp, but you get the idea). It deals with the totalitarian regime in North Korea and the shallow silly ideals of the American middle class.

All of this while living in Philly. Should be an interesting summer.
